The rare and luminescent rainbow kelp or marineer shells are only found in the cold southern oceans of  Victoria and Tasmania, Australia 

The rainbow luminescence of this ethically sourced shell is enhanced with aquamarine and larimar on a tarnish free 14ct gold fill chain

The shell in not fragile as the walls are surprisingly thick to protect the snail from the cold temperatures of its environment. The shell was found washed up on the beach by a shell collector in the winter months
